How and where personal data is processed

Processing and security

The Data Controller processes personal data using electronic tools and takes appropriate measures to prevent unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or loss. The website’s hosting and technical service providers may process data on the Controller’s behalf where necessary to operate the website and handle requests.

Legal basis

We process the information submitted through the contact form to respond to your request and prepare a quotation where requested. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). If you commission us, we process the data needed to carry out the work on the same basis, and any data required for administrative and tax obligations under Article 6(1)(c) GDPR. Technical data needed to keep the website operational and secure is processed on the basis of the Controller’s legitimate interest in website security (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Location

Data is processed where the Controller and the service providers involved are located. You can contact the Controller for information about the providers involved and any transfers outside the European Economic Area.

Retention

Enquiries submitted through the contact form that do not lead to an assignment are kept for 12 months after the last exchange and then deleted, unless a longer period is necessary to comply with the law or protect a legal right.
If an enquiry leads to an assignment, the data needed to manage it is kept for the duration of the working relationship. Administrative and tax records are kept for the periods required by applicable law.

Technical website data is kept for as long as necessary to operate and secure the service. The hosting provider, Serverplan, retains website access logs, which may include IP addresses, for a maximum of 6 months.
